2011 US Amateur Championship

Watch APA pool video of DJ Kinnee vs Daniel Gambill play 8 ball and 9 ball in this 2011 US Amateur Championship match video. Gambill has an APA ranking of 7 in 8 ball and 8 in 9 ball.  I'm not sure what Kinnee is ranked.   Of course this is an amateur tournament, so this isn't pro-level play, but these two guys are decent players and the commentary is very insightful as is the norm for Inside Pool broadcasts.

This event was hosted by Stroker's Billiards in Palm Harbor, FL on November 4-6, 2011.  The event was ran by the American Pool Players Association (APA) and the stream was made possible by Inside Pool Magazine.

Great Southern Billiards Tour Match Video: Larry Nevel vs Alex Olinger at 2011 Carolina Open

This is a pool match from the 8 ball tournament.  This tournament had a 9 ball and 8 ball division.  It was hosted by Fast Eddies in Goldsboro, NC on November 9-13, 2011.  The live stream was sponsored by FuryCues, Kamui tips and Milliken Super Pro Cloth.

This 8 ball match is a handi-capped match with Larry Nevel needing to win 8 games and Alex Olinger needing to win 7.  It is a well played match with great commentary from Alvin and BJ Ussery.

This billiards video is from the Galveston World Classic. It features Johnny "The Scorpion" Archer and, Hall-of-Famer and my favorite player, Nick Varner. This pool match was played to decide who got 3rd and 4th place in the 8 ball tournament.

If you know anything about professional pool, you know that these two guys are world-class players and legends in their own time. They are also class guys.

The video includes and some warm-up and other discussions leading up to the actual match. If you want to go right to the start of the pool match, go to 17:30. The commentary is by JoeyA and Gene Albrecht, a strong player, too. The commentary is great, so you should pick up some good knowledge from this match.

NOTE: The audio is several seconds ahead of the video. It is a little annoying, but the content is great.
